To add some goal and a feeling that you can ACHIEVE something, we could add some ranks to MPF! The ranks I've thought of and changes I've thought to make to satisfy the most powerhungry individuals:
VICE rank
- almost the same rank as we had in old PS, except that EpUs would want to delegate training the recruits to them. They would be seen behind the instructor desk in classroom when training recruits, they would be the first rank which has permission to have MP7 visible regardless of alert level. Vice-squad leader/rank leader, which has the same power as squad leader has when squad leader is off duty.
- the first rank which has real power to order lower ranked units
- there can be only one VICE per squad
Example name: MPF-JULIET-VICE.32910
Senior Officer rank
- the new rank that I made up, it is between a normal ground unit and VICE and has a purpose take responsibility when other superiors are too busy / or are off-duty. They often work as patrol leaders and are the first rank which is allowed to carry MP7 in backpack, but not to have it visible until it's code yellow. They also work as assisting instructors for VICEs and are allowed to train recruits if VICE or higher ranked officer delegates that responsibility to them.
- generally just to show everyone that this officer (who has senior officer rank) is an experienced officer, knows their shit and is able to guide the new units that might have questions
- they have authority to order ground units and recruits ONLY when no VICE or higher is available. Orders must however make sense, or the senior might find himself quickly lynched by ground units and his superiors.
- there can be multiple seniors per squad
Example name: MPF-JULIET-S.32104
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Also, we will soon be creating a new squad (yay additional squad leader position and vice position to satisfy powerhunger!)
Name is to be determined, but JULIET will always be the best squad, who will be the king of the nexus fortress (after TANGO). A squad of experienced units.
