- Dispatch -
Dispatch is the highest rank in not just the Overwatch Transhuman Arm, but also the Metropolice Force. It is an overseer of a city, the dispatch controls units, report crimes, report callouts and report to units about the happenings in the city.
- KING -
The King is an older rank of the Overwatch Transhuman Arm, it used to be the leader of the OTA faction, but Kings were never ever used again after the Battle of City 17. The King of City 17 died at an Autonomous Judgement when he sweeped the sewers along with an OTA squad.

- Overwatch Elite (EOW) -
Overwatch Elites are equipped with improved body armor, made apparent by the larger neck guard and the increased protection it offers. Their helmets are also drastically different from those of regular soldiers, which possibly improves senses, indicated by the two miniature domes located where the ears of the soldier would be. Elites are tougher, achieve better accuracy with their weapons, and inflict more overall damage than regular soldiers do. They typically carry Overwatch Standard Issue Pulse Rifles, and are able to use the weapon's secondary fire Energy Ball. They use this advantage without hesitation and with deadly accuracy.
Elites have two squads:
- STORM (OTA-EOW-STORM.25677)
- SAVAGE (OTA-EOW-SAVAGE.25677)
- Overwatch Soldier (Standard OTA Trooper) -
Overwatch Soldiers (also known as Combine Soldiers by Citizens), are the basic transhuman infantry units of the Combine Overwatch, composing the backbone of the Combine's military presence on Earth. In contrast to Civil Protection, whose duties are to enforce order within suppressed population centres, soldiers of the Overwatch are tasked with more hazardous actions requiring skill and tact: from patrolling the treacherous borders of Combine-controlled territory to raiding Resistance-held strongholds.
As military personnel as opposed to law enforcement, Overwatch Soldiers are given access to military-grade equipment and tactical combat training, making them more formidable opponents than Civil Protection Officers. Standard Overwatch Soldiers, like other soldier variants, wear standard-issue blue and grey camo body armor over their mid-sections with padding on their arms, thighs, and groin. Several insignias can be found on their arm pads, signifying their position in the Combine regime. Perhaps the most advanced piece of equipment found on Overwatch Soldiers are their helmets, which cover the head entirely and are equipped with air filters and radios. These helmets have glowing blue goggles.
Overwatch Soldiers are equipped with MP7s, shotguns or AR2 Pulse Rifles, as well as grenades. Using these standard-issue weapons, Overwatch Soldiers typically work in squads of four to six, each squad having at least one soldier armed with a shotgun and another armed with a pulse rifle. During combat, soldiers make use of squad tactics and will attempt to flank enemies and provide cover for one other.
Shotgun Soldiers exclusively wield the shotgun. Shotgun Soldiers can be distinguished by their brown and red uniforms and battle armor. Their helmets are slightly darker than the average Overwatch Soldier, and have blood red/orange goggles. They also bear the Overwatch Elite insignia on a red shoulder pad, suggesting that they may be a branch of the Overwatch Elite, a higher ranked soldier variant, or a squad leader. In Nova Prospekt they have the same dark blue armor color and Nova Prospekt insignia on their right shoulder that a regular Nova Prospekt soldier would; however, they keep the red/orange goggle lens color and Overwatch Elite insignia on their left shoulder; both of which they would normally have outside of Nova Prospekt.
The Overwatch Sniper is a soldier in the Combine Overwatch, trained in the use of the Overwatch Sniper Rifle. Snipers are encountered hiding in high, concealed areas where they can get a good field of view. They are never seen holding their rifle but the blue transparent sighting beam emitting from it is. They can be detected by the beam or by the sound of the rifle firing on another target
Overwatch Troopers have 3 squads:
- ECHO (Normal Overwatch Trooper)
- MACE (Shotgunner Trooper)
- PHANTOM (Overwatch Sniper)
- Vanguards (Relocated Nova Prospekt Units) -
A Vanguard unit's task is to protect high priority targets like the City Administrator, or his/her assistants/secretaries. They can also become a bodyguard of a high ranked CWU member. Vanguards are never sent out to carry missions out, but when they are outside and get a callout, they may go to the location and deal with the situation instead of normal Overwatch Units. (The chances of this happening may be rare in some cases.)
Vanguards have 2 squads:
- KILO
- STINGER
